It should have been a quiet weekend for Aston Villa, Wolves and Premier League football with eyes turning to international action and top flight games on pause.
However, the Premier League has rocked the footballing world today by serving a huge 10-point deduction to Everton for breaches of financial rules. The punishment has already shaken up the division and, although tough news for Toffees fans to take, could boost Wolves hopes should the side be dragged into any relegation scrap.
