Ewan McGregor is returning to a major project from his past in an exclusive partnership with Apple TV+.

The Star Wars and Birds of Prey actor has unveiled a first look at the documentary series Long Way Up, a follow-up to his acclaimed BBC Two show Long Way Down.

The prior series followed McGregor and longtime friend Charley Boorman riding their motorcycles through 18 countries, from the village of John o' Groats in Scotland through Cape Town, South Africa.

First-look photos have been released on Monday (August 3) to offer viewers a sneak preview of where this sequel will be taking the duo on their latest travels.

This time, McGregor and Boorman will be chronicled by directors David Alexanian and Russ Malkin as they embark on a 13,000-mile journey across 16 border crossings in 13 countries.

Their trek begins in the Argentine resort town of Ushuaia and continues upwards as they travel all through South, Central and North America through some of the most remarkable landscapes in the world.

Long Way Up also does its part for environmental sustainability by having McGregor and Boorman riding the eco-friendly Harley-Davidson LIVEWIRE while their directors trail them on electric Rivians.
