Yahoo Movies Exclusive: Holby City's Rosie Marcel teases shocking Jac Naylor exit story

Holby City star Rosie Marcel has opened up about Jac Naylor's upcoming exit, after Tuesday's dramatic – and potentially deadly – cliffhanger.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy about her upcoming exit storyline, the Holby favourite promised fans that the end of Jac's 16-year stint at Holby City Hospital is a "great" one.
As for who the victim of the tragic siege will be, Rosie is giving nothing away, meaning there's still a chance that Jac's departure could be final.

"They are all in danger," she told us. "He could shoot anybody he wants to at this point and he does. They are all in huge, huge danger. Any one of them could die."
Reflecting on the filming process, Rosie admitted the scenes were "exhausting". "We were all stuck in that room and had to be very far apart from each other. It was very hot and extremely physical but it was also so much fun."
Promising an "intense" but "brilliant" episode, she added: "It was beautifully choreographed and beautifully written. It's a very intense episode but it's brilliant.
"For me, having those last two episodes as my final episodes was awesome. It was a great story to go out on."

Rosie also reflected on Jac's relationship with Kian (Ramin Karimloo), admitting that it's on "very rocky ground at the moment".
"If [Jac] was trusting her instincts, I think she would have ended things when she learned he was taking drugs – especially as he has been looking after her kid," Rosie added.
"Their relationship has basically been based on a lie. It's surprising Jac has stuck with him but she does obviously love him. I think they are now on shaky ground. She's allowed herself to trust him and he's shown himself to be an active boyfriend and co-parent – even if he was drugged up to his eyeballs – and that's all she's ever wanted. She trusts him and that's very important to Jac.
"People often say to me, 'I don't understand why people like Jac' and I have to agree with them. She is really not a nice person – she's really hard work. But Kian seems to get her. I think somehow their relationship works based on that and I think that's why she's willing to give it a go."
Speaking about her decision to leave the BBC One medical drama, Rosie previously told DS that she "really needed [a] break", after starring in the series since 2005.
"I'm sad obviously – I love the show and I've been there a really long time," she said. "But it got to a stage where I was just so tired and I really needed that break, to the point where I've not really done anything else and I don't want to – I want to take time off."
Holby City continues on Tuesday, February 2 at 7.50pm on BBC One.
