Yahoo Movies Exclusive: Hollyoaks star Billy Price discusses death fears for Sid in big episodes

Hollyoaks star Billy Price has revealed that his character Sid Sumner will fear for his life next week as the show's County Lines storyline takes a dramatic new turn.
Sid has spent the past few weeks working for drug dealer Victor Brothers (Benjamin O'Mahony), hoping to gather evidence and bring him down from the inside.
In next week's episodes, Sid takes some advice from local lawyer James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) and plants a recording device in Victor's car.
Sid manages to trick Victor into incriminating himself in front of the bug. However, before Sid can get the relevant evidence to the police, Victor is furious to discover that he has been betrayed.

Speaking to Digital Spy about the tense scenes, Billy explained: "Our masterplan is to get a confession from Victor. Ste is not up for it, but James tells Sid to get back out there.
"They have to get a confession, so they use a listening device. Sid has to plant it inside Victor's car and get him talking. It sounds easier than it actually is, but that's the masterplan!
"Sid is either fearless or he's just stupid. I kind of feel like it might just be that he's stupid! Sid just does it, even though everybody tells him not to do it."

Revealing how the story develops once Victor knows the truth, Billy teased: "It's a big old showdown. Ste comes up with a cunning plan to buy Sid some more time. But Sid has to get the evidence and then give the evidence to the police before Victor catches him.
"There's this massive, almost Western face-off where Sid is trying to get the evidence to the police station, Victor is chasing him and Ste is distracting Victor. It's quite tense and time is of the essence."
Billy confirmed that Sid is in no doubt over what Victor is capable of as the ruthless villain closes in.

He said: "Over the past year with the County Lines story, Victor has had Sid in the back of a boot, he's tried to put a gun to the back of his head, and he's the reason that he's not got a leg anymore.
"Sid knows that Victor can end his life within a finger-click. He knows that he's got the capability of ending his life, so it's a dangerous game with Victor."
