The Expendables 4 has lined up a stellar cast, with a few huge names joining regulars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture.
As for filming, production is expected to begin this autumn, with Scott Waugh directing and Spenser Cohen scripting (with revisions from Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly).
The news comes a month after Stallone shared an update on The Expendables 4 with a picture of a gold ring decorated with a jewel-eyed skull, suggesting the movie was in pre-production.
"Just finished the designing the new ring for EXPENDABLE 4," he captioned the snap. "It's a little heavy, but it'll definitely put some muscles on your fingertips."
The latest film in the saga has certainly been a long-time coming, with the last movie released all the way back in 2014. The first came in 2010 and the second in 2012. The franchise itself has grossed a whopping $804 million (£583 million) globally.
News of the fourth film dates back to 2018 when news emerged that Stallone had struck a deal with Millennium Films.
Following the new casting update, Millennium's media president Jeffrey Greenstein said: "The Expendables are back, and we couldn't be more excited to bring this star studded, action packed film to the big screen with Lionsgate, who have been with us since the inception of this franchise.
"To keep it fresh and fun, we've added exciting new stars to join the veterans; popcorn entertainment is guaranteed."
The Expendables 4 doesn't currently have a release date.
