The Falcon to appear in Avengers 2?

Appearing in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier', it looks as though Anthony Mackie has signed on for a few more movies… and 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' could be one of them.

It's no surprise that the Falcon will be appearing in 'Captain America 2'. After all, we've all seen the rather impressive green screen pictures. But with Marvel's Avengers assembling as we speak, could we see him appear alongside Iron Man and the Hulk? Actor Anthony Mackie reveals that he's signed on for more than just the Captain America movie… but doesn't know exactly which films he'll be starring in.

In an interview with Total Film, 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' star Anthony Mackie revealed that he has signed a multi-picture deal… but he doesn't know which movies he's in.

"I'm under contract for a bunch of movies but I don't know if Avengers 2 is one of them," he explained. But it certainly sounds as though he's keen. "You've got a bunch of guys that get paid to go to work with their friends and have fun every day. Why wouldn't you want to be a part of that?"

Now that's a good question and I'm sure if he's given the opportunity, he'd jump at the chance. But should the Falcon appear in 'Avengers 2'? That's another matter entirely.

Still, at least he seems to be enjoying himself… and he's certainly getting stuck into the role. Asked whether it was difficult to keep a straight face while in costume, he explained some of the intricacies of starring as a comic book hero.

"Not at all," he laughed. "The funny thing about that was, every time I put on the costume I felt kind of invincible. So it was more trying not to get in trouble! I felt a little ridiculous at first because you're a thirty-something-year-old man dressing like a cartoon hero, but after a while you start buying into it."

"When I started [playing] the Falcon, I put in my contract that I get to keep my wings. Like, 'That's Falcon, b**ch, on the wall, behind 'EMERGENCY: BREAK GLASS'!"

Let's just hope that doesn't become his catchphrase.
