As the former Vice President was sworn into office yesterday, 20 January, the moment brought renewed interest in Biden's TV appearances, including the time he guest starred on Law & Order: SVU in 2016.
The episode, titled “Making a Rapist”, was a ripped-from-the-headlines spinoff of Netflix's Making a Murderer true-crime series. This SVU episode focused on a man who had his rape conviction overturned, only to be accused again, this time of raping a different woman.
The episode opened with Biden addressing failures around rape kits and praising the work of Lieutenant Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and her team for advocating for rape victims.
I'm about 6 years late, but I had no idea that President Biden was on Law & Order SVU ☺. pic.twitter.com/ukPagVvSYY

Fans also resurfaced Biden’s appearances on Parks & Recreation. In the Season 5 episode "Ms Knope Goes to Washington", Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) meets Biden, who is her hero (and whom she has a massive crush on).
The then-vice president also showed up another time on the NBC comedy, this time with his wife Dr Jill Biden, in the series finale in 2015.
I just know Leslie Knope is fulfilled! Crazy how a Parks and Rec actor, Joe Biden, became President of the United States 🤣 Has The Office done that yet!? 🎤⬇️ pic.twitter.com/WKqg4xhoNq

And let’s not forget Biden’s Veep cameo in a parody video shown at the 2014 White House Correspondents' Dinner.

Hanging out with Selina Meyer (played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Biden and the TV VP are seen driving around Washington, DC, in a bright yellow sports car.
Later, Biden takes Meyer on a tour of the Oval Office and even heads into the White House kitchen for some ice cream, only to be busted by then-first lady Michelle Obama, who encourages them to make healthier food choices before digging into the dessert herself.
