Fassbender to narrate racing film

15 November 2012

Michael Fassbender is set to narrate the Formula 1 film 1.

The Shame star - a motor racing fan - has signed up to voice the motor racing documentary, Variety reported.

An early version of the film, without Fassbender's narration, is debuting in Austin this week as part of a presentation for the US Grand Prix weekend.

Director Paul Crowder said: "Michael Fassbender is a brilliant and fearless actor who will bring all the passion and excitement of our action documentary to life."

Interviewees include Formula 1 drivers Sir Jackie Stewart, Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher and Jenson Button.
