Fast X's opening scene has been released to mark digital release

Fast X's opening scene has been released online as the movie marks its US digital release.

The tenth main instalment in the action franchise was released last month in cinemas, though is now available for fans in America digitally to buy and rent.

The movie's opening scene is a flashback to the bank vault chase in Fast Five, now including Jason Momoa's villain Dante Reyes, the son of the prior movie's baddie Hernan Reyes.

With Fast X now done and dusted, fans are eagerly awaiting the sequel in Fast X Part 2, and star Vin Diesel has now confirmed that it will hit the big screen on April 4, 2025.

Revealing the news on Instagram, the actor shared a photo of himself with Momoa, writing: "April 4th 2025… is less than 22 months away. I love how expressive and collaborative all of the actors in our franchise feel coming into the World's Saga.

"Jason wanted to try something totally unique and special and ended up creating a scene-stealing character that the world won't forget.

"Thank you all for showing up like you always do… 7 billion means nothing if it doesn't represent the true feeling of family and loyalty."

The star further teased: "Part two is going to be an effort from our Fast family and studio like you have never seen."

In other news, franchise star Dwayne Johnson recently confirmed his return to the series for another movie after a surprise appearance in Fast X.

Fast X is now playing in US and UK cinemas, and is available digitally in the US to buy and rent.
