What's Fate: The Winx Saga all about?

It follows the adventures of teenage “fairy warrior” Bloom and her friends as they navigate life at Alfea College, their magical boarding school (Ron Weasley sadly not included). The six-part live-action series, produced by Vampire Diaries’ co-executive producer Brian Young, is inspired by one of the longest-running and most popular franchises on Nickelodeon, Winx Club. Expect witches, fairies and mythical creatures galore.

Abigail Cowen (Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina) stars as Bloom, alongside newcomer Hannah Van Der Westhuyseas as Stella and Precious Mustapha (Endeavour, The Stranger) as Aisha. Is there a trailer for Fate: The Winx Saga yet?

Yes! Netflix dropped the full trailer on 19 January (watch it above.)

Executive producer Iginio Straffi called it "edgier and darker than what [fans] can imagine”, which has got us very excited indeed. Jennifer Breslow of Netflix said, "We are extremely proud to bring this iconic set of strong female characters to life,” and called it “a wildly entertaining and addictive genre series”. Sold? Us too.
