Police have released the last known image of a 14-year-old girl who has been missing from her home in Bedfordshire for more than two weeks.

Elisha Crimmins was last seen getting off a train in south-west London more than a fortnight ago with two young men.

Bedfordshire Police released a CCTV image of this last sighting of Elisha and said they would like to speak to the two males about her whereabouts.

Elisha initially went missing with friends on September 29 and has not been seen since CCTV cameras captured her at Kingston station at 5.07pm on October 4.

She is originally from the Cardiff area but has lived in local authority care at a children’s home in Bedfordshire since November 2017. She also has links to the Croydon area of south London.

There has been no phone contact with Elisha since she was last seen in public.

Her social media accounts were used to “like” a photo on October 5 and to send a brief direct message on October 11.

Assistant Chief Constable Jackie Sebire, of Bedfordshire Police, said: “While we have focused our search so far on Croydon and South Wales, the length of time that has now passed since a confirmed sighting means Elisha could be anywhere across the country.

“Elisha is a vulnerable young girl and we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.”

She urged anyone with information on Elisha’s whereabouts over the last fortnight, or about the two young men she was pictured with at Kingston station, to contact police.

“Elisha should know that she is not in trouble and everyone just wants to make sure that she is safe,” she added.

Sarah Vale, one of Elisha’s carers, said: “Elisha is such a vibrant, personable and friendly girl that people are naturally drawn to her.

“She is extremely attractive and that, coupled with the way she conducts herself, can make her appear older than she is. But when you get to know her you are reminded of just how young she is.”

She said Elisha loves animals, is a “brilliant” horse rider and has never been in any trouble at the home.

“Elisha is just a young person who has had a really hard start in life,” she said. “If you are reading this, please get in touch, because everyone is really worried about you and we just want to make sure you’re safe.”
