With The Rise Of Skywalker all set to bring an end to Star Wars’ Skywalker saga, anticipation is high for exactly how the franchise will come to an end.

This excitement will become even more intense after the airing of its final trailer, which Disney have now confirmed will be occur on Monday night in the United State during ESPN’s Monday Night Football.

Disney took to Twitter on Saturday to confirm the air date for The Rise Of Skywalker’s final trailer, even giving fans a very little tease of what we can expect to see in the footage.

Of course that means that British Star Wars fans will actually have to wait until Tuesday morning to see the latest footage of The Rise Of Skywalker. But at least it will be ready and waiting for them as soon as they wake up.

J.J. Abrams, who has returned to co-write and direct The Rise Of Skywalker, recently opened up about trying to give a “cohesive ending” to all 9 installments of the Star Wars franchise with the blockbuster, admitting, “Endings are the thing that scare me the most.”

“This is about bringing this thing to a close in a way that is emotional and meaningful and also satisfying in terms of actually answering [as many] questions as possible,” Abrams told Entertainment Weekly. “So if years from now, someone’s watching these movies, all nine of them, they’re watching a story that is as cohesive as possible.”
