Fire Breaks Out in Sydney's Olympic Park Amid Record Heat

Fires broke out in several locations in New South Wales over the weekend of November 28-29, amid record-high temperatures.

This footage, recorded on the Sunday in the Sydney suburb of Olympic Park, shows a small fire that was burning in a vegetated area.

Overnight Saturday, Sydney experienced its hottest ever recorded November nighttime temperatures, before rising to over 40 degrees Celsius at Sydney’s airport on Sunday.
