Our first official look at Harry Styles on the set of his new movie Don't Worry Darling is here, with director Olivia Wilde sharing a glimpse of 'Jack' in action.

Wilde – who is rumoured to be dating the former One Direction star – shared a moody, old-school Hollywood photo of Styles from the upcoming project, praising the budding actor for his "humility and grace" during filming.

Alongside the black-and-white shot, Olivia also spoke out about the reluctance of male actors to "play supporting roles in female-led films" – something she hadn't experienced with Harry.

"Little known fact: most male actors don't want to play supporting roles in female-led films," the Booksmart director wrote on Instagram.

"The industry has raised them to believe it lessens their power (i.e. financial value) to accept these roles, which is one of the reasons it's so hard to get financing for movies focusing on female stories.

"No joke, it is harrrrrd to find actors who recognize why it might be worth it to allow for a woman to hold the spotlight. Enter: @harrystyles, our 'Jack'."

As well as heaping praise on Harry, Olivia also revealed his surprising ability to "drive backwards".

"Not only did he relish the opportunity to allow for the brilliant @florencepugh to hold [centre] stage as our 'Alice', but he infused every scene with a nuanced sense of humanity," she continued.

"He didn't have to join our circus, but he jumped on board with humility and grace, and blew us away every day with his talent, warmth, and ability to drive backwards."

Olivia Wilde isn't the only member of the Don't Worry Darling team who's been impressed by Harry Styles – star Chris Pine recently admitted that he was "blown away" by him. He's "off-the-charts cool", he gushed.
