John Cena's buddy comedy sequel Vacation Friends 2 has just dropped a chaotic trailer ahead of its arrival on Hulu this month.

Also starring Lil Rel Howery (Get Out), Yvonne Orji (Insecure) and Meredith Hagner (Palm Springs) from the original, this one finds unlikely pals Marcus, Emily, Ron and Kyla sunning themselves in new climates - with the latter couple now parents to a crawling toddler.

The only sticking point is that Marcus secretly arranged the trip in conjunction with a business commitment, and hopes that party animals Ron and Kyla will be "long gone" by the time he needs to knuckle down.

As Vacation Friends 2 is a bonkers laugh-a-thon, it's safe to say things don't go quite to plan, as this crucial work meeting is pushed forward.

"Guys, I need you to be really cool. Can you do that for me?" Marcus begs Ron and Kyla in the trailer, who have also been invited out for drinks with the high-rollers.

"Look who you're talking to, when have we ever not been cool?" asks Kyla, before a burst of hectic booze and drug-fuelled future scenes play out.

Things get really interesting when her dad Reese (played by Steve Buscemi) turns up on the scene fresh out of prison, carrying what definitely isn't a massive bag of cocaine.

Hulu will be hoping that this upcoming sequel manages to replicate those impressive 2021 viewing numbers, as Vacation Friends became the streamer's most-watched original movie on its opening weekend.

Vacation Friends 2 premieres Friday, August 25 on Hulu in the US.
