First look at Josh Gad and Kaya Scodelario in Alex Winter's Adulthood
A first look has been released for Josh Gad and Kaya Scodelario's new movie Adulthood.
Adulthood sees the actors play brother and sister Megan and Noah, whose lives take a shocking turn when they discover a dead body in their parents' basement.
The first photo from the film shows the 'dead body' front and center as Megan and Noah are seen holding the corpse, which is wrapped in blue plastic.

After finding the body, "the siblings are pulled back to the hometown they ran away from and into a rabbit hole of crime and murder," Adulthood's synopsis reads.
The script was penned by Michael M.B. Galvin, who wrote the novel the film is based on. Actor-turned-director Alex Winter (Bill from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure) is at the helm.
Deadline reports that Republic Pictures has picked up the US and Canadian rights to Adulthood.
Adulthood, which was filmed earlier this year in Ottawa, also stars Booksmart's Billie Lourd and Barry's Anthony Carrigan, as well as director Winter.
Following her success in Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen, Scodelario was recently cast in upcoming Netflix thriller The Woman in Cabin 10, based on Ruth Ware's bestselling novel of the same name

Scodelario joins Keira Knightley in the adaptation, which centres around a journalist who witnesses a shocking event while on a luxury cruise.
The synopsis reads: "The Woman in Cabin 10 follows a journalist who witnesses a passenger being thrown overboard a luxury yacht at night – only to be told that it didn't happen as all the passengers and crew are accounted for," reads the official synopsis for the film.
"Despite no one believing her, she continues to look for answers, putting her own life in danger."
Adulthood does not yet have a release date.
