Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are the subject of yet another Lifetime Original movie, this time about their decision to quit as working members of the royal family.

Over two years after the first Lifetime 'biopic', A Royal Romance, a brand new trailer for Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace has dropped, giving fans their first look at Jordan Dean and Sydney Morton as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Lifetime dropped the trailer on Twitter – which even features a recreation of Harry and Meghan's controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey – writing: "Not all fairytales have the perfect ending..."

Taking over from Murray Fraser and Parisa Fitz-Henley, respectively, The Punisher's Jordan Dean will portray Prince Harry, while Manifest star Sydney Morton will take on Meghan Markle.

Dean starred as Jake Nelson/Jake Campbell in season two of ill-fated Marvel TV series The Punisher, while Morton appeared as Alex Bates in a handful of episodes of NBC drama Manifest.

Speaking of Manifest, the supernatural drama about the passengers and crew of an airline who were initially thought dead was recently cancelled after just three seasons.

Despite the pleas of series creator Jeff Rake and the cast, any hopes of a platform such as Netflix reviving the show have since been dashed. The decision to abort Manifest's mission comes after its third season failed to maintain its originally impressive audience figures.
