First look at Nicholas Hoult and Willem Dafoe in Nosferatu
New first-look pics of Nosferatu, the upcoming movie starring Nicholas Hoult and Willem Dafoe, have been released.
Following up from his turn in Renfield, X-Men actor Hoult is back in another vampire flick, starring as Thomas Hutter, a character based on Jonathan Harker from Bram Stoker's Dracula.
Hoult will star opposite Dafoe as Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz, Lily-Rose Depp as Ellen Hutter and Bill Skarsgård as the not-quite-Dracula Count Orlok.

The first image sees Hoult sporting some sideburns and looking disturbed as a creepy hand pours him a drink, while the second sees Dafoe seemingly in front of a crypt of some sort as it goes up in flames around him. Did he cause the fire?
As well as these new images, the film has also been given a UK release date.
We already knew that Nosferatu would be released on Christmas Day 2024 in the US, but the UK release date was up in the air until now. It's been confirmed that the movie will debut in the UK on January 1, 2025.
The Northman's Robert Eggers is the director behind the film, and he recently teased that it will be a classic scary story.
"It's a Gothic horror movie," he said. "I do think that there hasn't been an old-school Gothic movie that's actually scary in a while. And I think that the majority of audiences will find this one to be the case."

He also stated that this version of the film will focus more on the character of Ellen than the previous versions by FW Murnau and Werner Herzog and that Depp is "absolutely phenomenal" in the role.
Nosferatu will be released on December 25, 2024, in the US and on January 1, 2025, in the UK.
