First look at Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum in Lost City of D

Sandra Bullock's new movie The Lost City of D is currently shooting in the Dominican Republic.

Co-starring Channing Tatum, Brad Pitt, Daniel Radcliffe, Da'Vine Joy Randolph and Patti Harrison in varying roles, fans have now been given a sneak peek at what's to come.

Uploaded to Tatum's Instagram yesterday (May 27), his and Bullock's characters can be seen making a splash in the jungle.

The Foxcatcher actor's followers and friends were all over this photo in the comment section, with one person writing: "OH MY GOD YESSSS!! All the Yesssss!!"

"The duet we never knew we needed OKAYYYYY" added someone else, before a third shared: "Okay I love it already my two favorite actors ahhhhhhhh".

As for the project itself, The Lost City of D has been described as a 'screwball adventure' spin on the romance genre.

Bullock, who produces as well, portrays a reclusive novelist who gets stuck on a book tour with her latest release's cover model (that's Tatum).

Later, things go from bad to horrendous as the pair become entangled in a kidnapping plot that takes them into the jungle as though they were recreating one of her stories.

The Lost City of D comes to cinemas on April 15, 2022.
