Chris Hemsworth is every bit the God of Thunder in the first official long at Marvel's next massive blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok.
A behind-the-scenes look at Chris Hemsworth and director Taika Waititi only the Thor: Ragnarok set is actually on the starter - with the beefy main course being even more impressive.
Along with this new photo, Marvel Studios has confirmed that Avengers bros Thor and Hulk will actually do battle when they cross paths in Ragnarok.
A brand new synopsis teases: "In Marvel Studios' Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!"
Director Director Taika Waititi previously teased that Ragnarok will evoke the classic Marvel Comics storyline Planet Hulk by visiting the planet Sakaar (where much of the comic was set).
In that Planet Hulk storyline, poor Bruce Banner is blasted into space where he finds his very own planet to conquer. Would you dare stand in The Hulk's way?
"Sakaar was just an insane, far-off, futuristic place which was the biggest shift for the film and these characters," Waititi teased.
On top of this cool Hulk-Thor showdown, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) could cross paths as they search for the missing all-father Odin (Anthony Hopkins).
Thor: Ragnarok - which will also star Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum and Idris Elba - will be released in the UK on October 27, 2017, and in the US on November 3, 2017.
