The first images of Gal Gadot in character as Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman, have been posted on Twitter.
The actress was spotted wearing a blue dress on the set of ‘Batman Vs Superman’ while scenes were being shot in Birmingham, Michigan.
Fans have been waiting for an official glimpse of the Amazonian superheroine since director Zack Snyder shared the first image of Bruce Wayne actor Ben Affleck in his Batman costume last week.

Speaking about Wonder Woman’s iconic outfit, the film’s costume designer Michael Wilkinson told The Wrap: "It's a thrilling and slightly scary prospect of course. It's so important to get her right.
“She really deserves to be presented onscreen in her full glory, so what I do is look at the history of the character has been presented on the big screen, small screen, comic books, and graphic novels; we process it all. Then we kind of put that aside and work out what is right for our film, for the cinematic universe that our director Zack Snyder is putting together. We try to create a Wonder Woman relevant for today's audiences.”
Snyder, meanwhile, has teased his excitement at seeing the three legendary DC characters in costume together for the first time.
"Not only is it the first time that I'm seeing them, it's the first time they've ever existed together on screen in a movie, and that’s kind of a huge deal,” he told Forbes.
“Even just Batman and Superman standing next to each other... It's kind of epic. You do sort of sense the weight of the pop culture iconography jumping out of its skin when you're standing there looking at the two of them and Wonder Woman. It's crazy. But it's fun. I mean, I have the first photo, I've got it in my archive because I was like, 'Okay, I better keep this, it's gonna be worth something.”
The ‘Man of Steel’ sequel stars Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent. The film is due to hit cinemas on 29th April, 2016.
