We're all invited to the ball in the magical official trailer for Cinderella, starring Camila Cabello as the iconic character.

The trailer is our best look yet at the new movie which looks like it'll follow the classic story. However, we can expect some modern twists along the way as this Cinderella wants to launch her own shop and isn't sure she just wants to be a princess.

"I don't want a life stuck waving from a royal box any more than a life confined to a basement," she says. That doesn't mean she doesn't want to go to the ball though and it looks fittingly spectacular.

It was revealed in May that Cinderella was skipping its planned cinema release and would instead be released worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on September 3.

The new version of the classic tale marks Cabello's movie debut as she takes on the lead role of Cinderella. This time around, she's an ambitious young woman whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow.

However, with the help of her Fab G (Porter), she musters the courage to make her dreams come true. She will go to the ball, whatever her evil stepmother tries to do to stop her.

We got our first look at Cabello's Cinderella and Prince Charming (Galitzine) back in May, and it was followed up by the first footage from the movie in a brief teaser released by Amazon in June.

The new movie has been written and directed by Pitch Perfect's Kay Cannon and will feature covers of classic pop songs, as well as original songs by Cabello and Menzel, who stars as Cinderella's evil stepmother Vivian.

Pierce Brosnan also stars in the movie as King Rowan, while James Corden, John Mulaney and Romesh Ranganathan play the three mice who are transformed into footmen.

Cinderella is released on Amazon Prime Video on September 3.
