Yahoo Movies First trailer for former EastEnders star Ben Hardy's Netflix romcom
Love at First Sight's first trailer is here, with a glimpse of former EastEnders' Ben Hardy and The White Lotus's Haley Lu Richardson in the lead roles.
An adaptation of the 2011 novel The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E Smith, the Netflix romcom directed by Vanessa Caswill kicks off with a seven-hour trip across the Atlantic.
Hadley Sullivan (Richardson) is on her way to a wedding and misses a flight that would take her to London from New York. She boards a red-eye to the UK with Oliver Jones (Hardy) after a chance encounter at the airport.

Sparks fly during their night on the plane together – but, upon landing at Heathrow, the pair are separated when Hadley's phone spectacularly breaks seconds after Oliver puts his number in.
As the narrator (The Good Place's Jameela Jamil) reminds viewers, finding your soulmate (if you believe in that sort of thing, that is) is hard enough a first time, but hoping to meet them again seems like a hopeless mission.
However, it's rom-com territory we're chartering here, so it's safe to assume these two will have another shot at romance while in the capital.

Love at First Sight also stars Rocketman director Dexter Fletcher, Deadpool 2's Rob Delaney, Doctor Foster's Tom Taylor and Bridget Jones icon Sally Phillips.
