First trailer for Jason Statham's new movie with Guy Ritchie

Jason Stratham's new movie Wrath of Man has just released its first trailer ahead of the action thriller's release this summer.

The film has been directed by The Gentlemen's Guy Ritchie, who also contributed to the screenplay, and it marks the first time that Ritchie and Stratham have worked together since their 2005 movie Revolver.

In addition to the new trailer, Wrath of Man recently revealed a new movie poster, which confirmed a new US release date of May 7. The UK release date is currently set as June 25.

Aladdin director Ritchie has created a contemporary action thriller about a cryptic man named H (played by Stratham). In Wrath of Man, H is a cold and mysterious character who works as an armoured truck driver in Los Angeles, transporting hundreds of millions of dollars around the city each week.

Soon after he starts the job, H gets ideas about what he could do with the money and eventually invents his own set of ulterior motives. Through different times, situations and other character's perspectives, viewers will see H's objective and will be taken on his wild journey.

Wrath of Man currently has a planned cinematic release date of June 25 in the UK and May 7 in the US. This is subject to COVID-19 restrictions being lifted and ever-changing movie release dates.

Alongside Stratham, Wrath of Man stars Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Josh Hartnett, Laz Alonzo, Raúl Castillo, Deobia Oparei, Eddie Marsan and Scott Eastwood.

Wrath of Man is set for cinematic release on June 25 in the UK and May 7 in the US.
