First trailer for Netflix's powerful 9/11 movie Worth starring Michael Keaton

Michael Keaton stars alongside Stanley Tucci and Amy Ryan in the gripping first-look trailer for Netflix's powerful new 9/11 movie Worth.

The upcoming drama is directed by Sara Colangelo (The Kindergarten Teacher) and is based on the true events that took place in the wake of September 11, 2001.

The Batman star plays a lawyer who is tasked with calculating how to compensate the families of the victims of the attacks.

Expanding on the synopsis, Netflix writes: "An attorney learns a lesson in empathy when he is faced with the near-impossible task of determining how to compensate families who suffered incalculable losses as a result of the September 11th attacks in 2001. Based on true events."

Netflix Film shared the trailer on Twitter alongside the caption: "How do you calculate the value of a life?" The streamer has also shared a poster for the movie, which you can see below:

Keaton's most recent role was another Netflix release – the Oscar-nominated Trial of the Chicago 7. He also appeared in Tim Burton's reimagining of Dumbo in 2019, and starred alongside Dylan O'Brien in 2017's American Assassin.

He's also due to reprise the role of the Caped Crusader in DC's long-delayed The Flash movie, with production pictures of him on set emerging earlier this summer.

Worth releases on September 3, 2021 on Netflix.
