Yahoo Movies First trailer for Top Boy star Micheal Ward's new Netflix movie The Beautiful Game
The first trailer for the upcoming Netflix film The Beautiful Game is here, offering a glimpse of Bill Nighy and Micheal Ward in action.
The movie, which is released in UK cinemas on March 21 and on Netflix on March 29, tells the story of England's homeless football team taking on the Homeless World Cup in Rome.
Top Boy's Ward and Love Actually's Nighy lead the cast alongside Halo's Cristina Rodlo, Avengers: Endgame star Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Enola Holmes' Susan Wokoma, and Shadow and Bone actor Kit Young.
Callum Scott Howells, Sheyi Cole, Robin Nazari, and Aoi Okuyama also star.

The trailer shows Nighy in the role of Mal, the manager of England's homeless football team as he prepares to take his team to Rome with hopes they will come out victorious in and crowned winners of the street football tournament.
At the last minute, he enlists the help of Vinny (Ward), a talented striker who just might give them the edge to win if he can let go of his troubling past.
In a statement, producer Graham Broadbent said: "The Beautiful Game is a film about succeeding against the odds. [It] shows the joy, drama and excitement of this real-life tournament and the enormous potential of people left behind by society."

"We've worked closely with the Homeless World Cup Foundation and our writer Frank [Cottrell-Boyce] has met many players, from whose real-life stories he has created our characters, and we're happy to welcome many former players from the real tournament to be a part of the filming in Rome and London."
The Homeless World Cup Foundation was founded in 2001, with a mission "to use football to support and inspire people who are homeless to change their own lives, and to change perceptions and attitudes towards people who are experiencing homelessness".
The first annual Homeless World Cup took place in Graz, Austria in 2003. The 2024 tournament will be held in Seoul, South Korea.
The film is directed by Thea Sharrock.
The Beautiful Game will be released in UK cinemas on March 21 and will be available to stream on Netflix from March 29.
