The Flash actor lands role in Fast & Furious star's new film

Robbie Amell, best known for his role in The Flash, will be joining Fast and Furious star Jordana Brewster in a new film, Deadline has reported.

The new thriller, named Hello Stranger, began filming in Canada this week and will also star Alicia Sanz and Sam Worthington.

Brewster stars as Faye, a woman who attempts to replace her recently deceased husband Evan with an android named a SIM. SIM Evan appears the same but Faye doesn't feel the way she did with her human husband, forcing the SIM to win her over while evading a government agent (Worthington) who believes he is a threat to humankind as he chases down SIMs who have become 'conscious'.
