Don't Worry Darling might be the most anticipated non-superhero/nostalgic revival movie of the year, starring actor of the moment Florence Pugh and Harry Styles, one of the biggest popstars on the planet right now.

When the trailer for the film, which is about a woman who starts to suspect her idyllic town and her husband's job aren't what they seem, dropped, there was a fair bit of focus on the sex scenes between its two super-popular leads.

Pugh herself, however, doesn't want to focus on them.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, the actress said, "When it’s reduced to your sex scenes, or to watch the most famous man in the world go down on someone, it’s not why we do it. It’s not why I’m in this industry.

"Obviously, the nature of hiring the most famous popstar in the world, you’re going to have conversations like that. That’s just not what I’m going to be discussing because [this movie is] bigger and better than that. And the people who made it are bigger and better than that."

The actress recently confirmed that she had split from Scrubs actor and film director Zach Braff months ago, but they had elected to keep it a secret as they had received enough criticism over their 21-year age gap.

"We've been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it's been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on," she said.

"We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we're not together. So we've done that."

Don't Worry Darling releases to cinemas on September 23.
