The Forever Purge, aka the fifth and final instalment in the dystopian horror franchise, is taking the concept to the logical extreme: what if people don't want The Purge to be confined to just 12 hours once a year?

That's what a Mexican couple who escaped a drug cartel and went on the run in Texas will find out.

They encounter a group of mysterious people wearing creepy animal masks, who have decided that they want The Purge to last forever – and they've got our protagonists right in their sights.

Ana de la Reguera, currently starring in Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead, leads this one alongside Narcos: Mexico's Tenoch Huerta. The two play the couple Adela and Juan.

As they're tormented by the outlaws, they join forces with another family (Will Patton, Josh Lucas, Cassidy Freeman and Leven Rambin) to try and survive.

But it's not just them in danger. The outlaws want to start a class and a race massacre along America's southern border, and cause the entire country to spiral into anarchy and chaos.
