Gayle King made us do a double-take when she kicked off CBS This Morning on Wednesday in a super stylish green dress that won’t break the bank! The host stunned in the hue as she broke down the news of the day, and discussed Tyler Perry raising awareness for the COVID vaccine by getting one himself.

To complete the look, Gayle paired the form-fitting NY & Co. dress with layered gold necklaces. When a dress is a staple piece like this one (yes, even in a green hue), it makes it easy to dress it up or down and pair it with different coats and shoes, like trainers, booties, or heels. You can even belt this dress to change up the aesthetic, too.

Fans sang Gayle’s praises when CBS Morning’s team shared a video on their Instagram page that showed her wearing the dress. “Looking good @gayleking! Love the green,” one person wrote in the comments. “Very good interview. Thank you for sharing and Gail you are looking very beautiful loving your hair,” another wrote.

The best thing about the scoop neck dress, though, is its price tag - less than $35. The midi dress also comes in black and berry, and we tracked it down below.

This was just the latest time Gayle made a style statement. The journalist also stunned on the show on Monday when she wore another figure hugging dress, this time in a black and white gingham variety. She paired the Heli dress by Straud with simple accessories - diamond-shaped drop earrings - and wore her hair in a sleek bob.

Although we couldn’t see the shoes Gail wore with that look, the style of the dress lends itself to a surprise pop of color like a yellow or red heel. Given that she is known to wear bright colors like yellow and pink, something tells us she would be a fan.
