ER cast members George Clooney, Julianna Margulies and Noah Wyle are getting back together for a special cause.

The virtual reunion is the latest instalment in the Stars in the House series, which has previously featured famous faces from the likes of Grey's Anatomy, The Flash and Glee to raise funds.

This time, it will benefit Waterkeeper Alliance, the global clean water organisation, and will take place on Thursday, April 22 to coincide with Earth Day.

Former ER star Gloria Reuben, who played Jeanie Boulet and now serves as the president of Waterkeeper Alliance, commented: "I am absolutely thrilled to be reuniting with my ER family for a cause that is so close to my heart, and so grateful to Seth [Rudetsky] and James [Wesley] for allowing us to use their incredible platform to do so.

"I've been involved with Waterkeeper Alliance for 15 years, representing over 350 community-based Waterkeepers around the globe, and the work that they do is beyond comparison. We must continue to fight for clean water not just on Earth Day, but all year round!"
