GM and Honda team up, Nike downgraded, Facebook hack questions

Here’s a look at some of the companies the Yahoo Finance team will be watching for you today.

General Motors and Honda are driving into the future together. Honda is buying a stake in Cruise Holdings, which is developing an autonomous car. The investment is worth almost $3B. The self driving car will be built at a General Motors plant but no word on when it will roll off the assembly line.

New pressure today on Nike. Analysts at HSBC have downgraded the stock to neutral saying there’s little chance of any big surprises to the upside in coming quarters. They say it’s time to take a breather, with much of the growth Nike has experienced already baked in.

Facebook says there’s no hack this time! It was accused of allowing hackers to access third-party sites like Tinder and Spotify, but it’s saying ‘so far it found no evidence that the attackers accessed any apps using the Facebook Login.’ As a pre-caution, 90-million users were forcefully logged out of their accounts.

The most anticipated IPO of the year is a step closer to reality. Tencent music has officially filed – to list under the ticker TME. It’s not clear which exchange will get the honors. Tencent music lists both the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq in its filing. The IPO could value the company at more than $25B.
