Godfather Where Are They Now
The 2017 Tribeca Film Festival features a back-to-back screening of The Godfather's first and second installments. The cast of the film is reuniting for the occasion, so what better time than to catch up on what its key players are up to now?

Brando - who died in 2004 at age 80 - contributed many of his character's defining traits, and even had a hand in the death scene. "[Brando] said, 'Here's how I play with kids,' and took an orange peel, cut it into pieces that looked like fangs and slipped them into his mouth," Francis Ford Coppola told Playboy.

De Niro spent months learning Sicilian to play the younger Vito Corleone, as nearly all of the character's dialogue in the film is in the dialect.

Cazale, who played the black sheep of the Corleone family, Fredo, died of cancer in 1978, but Godfather III - completed using archival footage of him - was nominated for Best Picture at the 1991 Academy Awards. The coveted honor earned Cazale the unique distinction of having all six films he appeared in picking up a Best Picture nom.
