Godzilla vs Kong will officially skip UK cinemas and will be available to watch online from April 1. And no, this isn't an April Fool.

The latest entry in the Godzilla universe had already been confirmed for a simultaneous big-screen and HBO Max release in the US, but Warner Bros has now revealed when fans can watch Godzilla vs Kong across the pond.

As part of its latest release schedule, Warner Bros announced that Godzilla and Kong's head-to-head will be available to rent online, via Premium Video on Demand services, from Thursday, April 1.

Ahead of Godzilla vs Kong's premiere, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has teased what's in store for her character Madison Russell, who first appeared in 2019's Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

"So, five years have gone by and Madison has grown up," she explained. "It's definitely a coming-of-age story for her.
