The episode of the show apparently explores psychedelics and how they can possibly be used for healing.

Discussing her experience, Paltrow is quoted as saying: “It was actually very, very emotional.

“I was with my then boyfriend, who is now my husband, and he’s a very empathetic, very profoundly wise person and he was able to help me through it.

“But it does make me think there is so much to unearth if I did it.”

The show is named for Paltrow’s lifestyle brand Goop, which she launched in 2008.

Premiering on January 24 on streaming service Netflix, The Goop Lab sees the actress delving into wellness trends such as energy healing and cold therapy.

“We are here one time. One life. How can we really milk the s*** out of this?" she says in a trailer for the show.

The actress, 47, was previously married to Coldplay star Chris Martin but the couple split up in 2014 in a process they called “conscious uncoupling”.

She started dating TV producer Falchuk after they met on the set of Glee, and the pair tied the knot in September 2018.
