Hallmark Fans, We Have an Exclusive Clip From Erin Krakow's Newest Film
When Calls the Heart fans, have we got news for you. Erin Krakow is not only busy getting ready for the season 11 premiere of the Hallmark series on April 7, but she's starring in a new movie that's set to air as part of the network's "Spring Into Love"movie marathon!
The brand-new film, Blind Date Book Club, premieres Saturday, April 6 at 8 p.m. ET. In an exclusive clip for Good Housekeeping from Hallmark, we see bookstore owner Meg Tompkins (Erin) literally bumping into author Graham Sterling (Robert Buckley) in an adorable moment.
The plot of the movie follows Meg as she struggles to choose between managing her late mother's bookstore or pursuing dreams of her own. She initiates a "blind date book club," where customers select titles wrapped in brown paper with only a few key clues written on them. Along the way, Meg crosses paths with Graham, who's having trouble penning his latest novel.
In the sneak peek ahead, viewers can see obvious sparks flying between the two while Graham expresses an interest in Meg's passion project.
"Can I help you find something?" Meg asks Graham after he helps her up.
"I am intrigued by these mystery books everyone's talking about," Graham answers with a twinkle in his eye. "Was that you in the interview? I admire that you want to promote unknown and under-appreciated books."
This snippet alone includes plenty of long glances and secretive smiles, so fans are sure to be swooning already. While we'll have to wait a bit longer to find out how the film's love story plays out, we have a hunch everyone will find their happy ending. This is Hallmark, after all!
As far as what else fans can expect from Blind Date Book Club, Erin teased some of what's to come with her own trailer reveal, posted to Instagram on March 24.
"Consider your Saturday April 6th @ 8/7c BOOKED!" she excitedly captioned the video. "See what I did there?"
