Halloween's 2018 reboot was a surprisingly successful movie, both critically and commercially, so of course, now we're getting a trilogy.
Halloween Kills is due out later this year, and Andi Matichak (who plays the daughter of Jamie Lee Curtis' Laurie Strode) has teased that she got to see rough edits of a few scenes from the film already, and she's very excited indeed.
"I’m going to tell you what my reaction was when I read the script," she told The Hollywood Reporter.
"That was the first time I was exposed to the story of it, and when I read it, I was just blown away with how big, wonderfully chaotic, mad and ambitious it was.
"It felt so exciting to tell this story. And the sequences that I saw just affirmed that we were able to achieve all of those things."
The star also talked about how they create the right atmosphere on camera for the films, including having Michael Myers actor James Jude Courtney isolate himself from the rest of the cast while on set, while Andi herself has John Carpenter's iconic scores playing in her headphones to really get in the mood.
Carpenter, who has done the music for this sequel too, recently teased the movie as "the ultimate slasher".
