Halloween Kills boasts plenty of familiar faces including, of course, Jamie Lee Curtis and that infamous Michael Myers mask.
Cinemagoers aren't likely to have spotted Breaking Bad star Bob Odenkirk in the cast, though – but he did actually have a very small cameo.
Picking up right where the 2018 movie left off, the gory slasher sequel sees Laurie Strode (Curtis) and fellow survivors of Michael's initial murder spree way back in 1978 – including Lindsey Wallace (Kyle Richards, reprising the role) and Tommy Doyle (Anthony Michael Hall) – face the serial killer once more.
The film also references those who were killed by Michael that fateful night 40 years ealrlier, including Bob Simms, the boyfriend of PJ Soles' Lynda Van der Klok, who was pinned to a wall with a chef's knife while trying to grab a beer.
John Michael Graham, the actor who played the role originally, proved hard to track down, however, so the filmmakers behind the new outing were forced to get creative.
"I wanted to have acknowledgement of all the deaths from the previous film, but we couldn't track [the actor] down or get the rights," director David Gordon Green told Cinemablend, having been asked about Odenkirk's involvement.
I just realized while watching the credits of Halloween Kills that the picture shown of Bob (Lynda’s boyfriend from the original movie) is actually a picture of Bob Odenkirk as a teenager. pic.twitter.com/AvxYuRjzgu

"I was frustrated by that because I wanted to acknowledge Bob's death, but we couldn't get footage of Bob. So I Googled 'Bob 1970s High School', and a photo of Bob Odenkirk popped up that looked just like Bob!" he continued.
"So I thought, 'He's probably easier to find; let's go get him!'"
"They contacted him and he signed off on the rights to have his high school picture be the Bob in [the movie]," Curtis added excitedly, before Green added: "I'm a huge Bob Odenkirk fan. So that opportunity was too juicy to ignore."
