In an interview with USA Today he said bluntly: "I got nothing to say about that."

As journalists we pride ourselves on our ability to say lots about celebrities not saying much at all, but we're going to need at least a bit more here Mr Ford.

He did go on to say more, but it was somewhat cryptic: "If someone says 'Trust me', and it's not a sushi chef in a sushi bar, I'm immediately suspicious. I'm not a faith-based actor."

Could Ford be getting tired of all the talk without any actual confirmation? We're right there with you brother.

Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher have also previously spoken out regarding possible returns, the latter of which going back on what she had said much like Ford.

'Star Wars: Episode 7' is expected to be released in 2015.
