Walters plays Hill's gran in the forthcoming movie - which began filming last weekend - who joins him on a road trip to Blackpool after their hamster becomes seriously ill.

But they are pursued along the way by their lunatic vet, played by Simon Bird from 'The Inbetweeners'.

Then in Blackpool, they encounter Harry's evil twin, played by Matt Lucas, who was separated from his brother at birth and raised by Alsatians.

Also among the cast are recent Bafta winner Sheridan Smith, Marc Wooton, Julian Barratt and Jim Broadbent.

“I’m thrilled at last to be able to tell the world the true story of my hamster’s struggle on the big screen and even more excited to be working with some of the comedy greats of the British film industry,” said Hill.

It's being directed by Steve Bendelack, who directed 'The League of Gentlemen' and their feature-length film 'The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse'.

It's due out at the end of the year.
