Harry Potter's Neville Longbottom Looks Unrecognisable... Again

Is it Movember already? No?

Well, somebody tell Matthew Lewis, the actor formerly known as Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter movies.

- Fantastic Beasts shooting begins
- Check out what Harry Potter’s Padma Patil looks like now
- Dudley Dursley looks totally different now

Once geeky and awkward, the star is not only now a rippled hunk of beefcake, he’s now also busting a bristling moustache.

A moustache, we might add, which has set the internet alight.

Lewis, who was most recently seen in the BBC army-based comedy drama ‘Bluestone 42’, says that he’s growing it for work, though he doesn’t reveal what it is.

Must be either a 70s car dealer or a wartime spiv, though this shot below gives the illusion of the handlebar moustache, a fine thing if you can pull it off.

He took to Twitter to broach the chat about his facial furniture.

“I love being told to shave my moustache on a daily basis as if I’m somehow blissfully unaware that it makes me repellant to women. #itsmyjob,” he said.

It’s not the first time that Lewis has caused the internet to implode thanks to a brave new look.

Earlier this year, a photoshoot for Attitude magazine revealed that Mr Longbottom had suddenly become a pants-wearing thing of sculpted male beauty.

The revelation arrived with much consternation from Potter fans, who seemed to think that he would remain the same toad-carrying child from the movies.

Next up, he’s starring in the drama 'Me Before You’, alongside 'Game of Thrones’ star Emilia Clarke, Jenna Coleman, Sam Claflin and Charles Dance.
