Haunted Mansion trailer release date confirmed as new poster lands
Walt Disney Studios has revealed when the trailer for its new version of The Haunted Mansion, starring Rosario Dawson, will drop.
In a tweet, the House of Mouse announced the trailer's release alongside the release of the film's poster. "Look alive. @HauntedMansion teaser trailer appearing tomorrow," it reads.
Since that tweet was posted today, March 1, that means that the trailer will drop.... *uses fingers to do the math*... on March 2.

The synopsis for Haunted Mansion reads: "In this mysterious adventure, a doctor (Rosario Dawson) and her 9-year-old son (Chase Dillon), looking to start a new life, move into a strangely affordable mansion in New Orleans, only to discover that the place is much more than they bargained for.
"Desperate for help, they contact a priest (Owen Wilson), who, in turn, enlists the aid of a widowed scientist-turned failed-paranormal expert (LaKeith Stanfield), a French Quarter psychic (Tiffany Haddish) and a crotchety historian (Danny DeVito). "
Although the film doesn't feature Eddie Murphy returning from the 2003 version, it's got a pretty stacked cast.
As well as the aforementioned actors, there's also Stranger Things star Winona Ryder and Schitt's Creek's Dan Levy, as well as Jared Leto (who was Morbius) and Jamie Lee Curtis (who is all of us).

Director Justin Simien spoke about why he's the perfect person to direct the film since he previously worked at Disneyland.
"It was the best summer job I ever had, and anytime I wasn't working on the ride I was supposed to, I'd ride Pirates and my favourite ride, the Haunted Mansion," he recalled.
The Haunted Mansion will be released on July 28 — in the United States, at least.
