Hellboy's Ron Perlman says the reboot is 'none of his business'
Ron Perlman has revealed why he's chosen not to watch Neil Marshall's reboot of Hellboy, which tanked with audiences and critics last year.
He might've played the big red demon in Guillermo del Toro's beloved adaptations – 2004's Hellboy and 2008 sequel The Golden Army – but recently told Empire Magazine that the new version was "none of my business".
"It would only provoke me into whatever things I didn't need to add to my list of grievances," he added.

Meanwhile, the actor went on to confirm that his hunger still remains for a third del Toro flick, which was abandoned a number of years ago.
"If Guillermo were to wake up one day and say, 'You know what Ron? We need to finish the trilogy,' which is an idea that is near and dear to me, I'd be there in a heartbeat. But without him I have no interest in donning the make-up again.
"And you know, I just turned 70. So I would actually go down in history as being the oldest superhero!"

Perlman is reuniting with the Oscar-winning director on his next two projects, Nightmare Alley and Pinocchio.
Giving a hint about the latter, in which he's voicing puppet-master Mangiafuoco, Perlman shared: "I won't say too much, but it will surprise everyone. No one's ever seen this take on it. It's an exposé on fascism and its quite powerful."
