Space Jam's reboot has been a long time coming – decades, in fact – and we now know when it will be landing in cinemas.
Space Jam 2 has been given an official release date of July 16, 2021, so we've got just over two years to wait.
The movie will star basketball legend LeBron James, taking over from Michael Jordan, who fronted the 1996 original movie.
However, it looks like Jordan will not be involved in the film, and it will act as a reboot of the franchise rather than a sequel.
"There's already been one that was good, we gotta make a film that's great," James' childhood friend and filmmaking partner Maverick Carter said.
He added of the potential of Jordan being involved: "Hopefully there will be a role for Michael if he wants it. But Michael Jordan is Michael F**kin' Jordan.

"It doesn't matter [if LeBron] calls him, he's gonna do whatever the hell he wants, which he has earned that right to do.
"LeBron and Michael are not sitting around talking about Space Jam."
Space Jam 2 will be produced by Black Panther's Ryan Coogler and directed by Random Acts of Flyness creator Terence Nance.
Space Jam 2 will be released in cinemas on July 16, 2021.
