Yahoo Movies High School Musical's Ashley Tisdale welcomes second child
High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale has welcomed her second child and revealed the name in a post on social media.
The actor, best known for her role as Sharpay Evans in the Disney trilogy, wed musician Christopher French in 2014, with the couple welcoming their first child – a daughter named Jupiter – in March 2021.
Earlier this year, Tisdale announced that she was expecting her second child with French, and took to Instagram on Sunday (September 8) to announce that she had given birth to another girl.

“Emerson Clover French, all three of us are obsessed with you. She landed 9.6.24,” she wrote in the caption, with the post also including a photo of all four family members locking hands.
French wrote a comment on the post as he paid tribute to his wife, writing: “Thanks for bringing this beautiful creature into the world and our family @ashleytisdale you’re a superhero I love you so much.”
The comments section was filled with messages of support from fans and famous faces, with Tangled star Mandy Moore writing: “Congrats to you and your sweet family!” The Talk host Amanda Kloots also shared a comment, writing: “Awww congratulations mama! Love the name!!!”

“Best day ever!!!!!!! Love you guys @ashleytisdale @cmfrench ! Congrats on another gorgeous baby!!!!! Ash you are amazing!” added a follower, with another writing: “How exciting! Congratulations. What an adorable name.”
Tisdale isn't the only High School Musical cast member to welcome a child in recent months, with Vanessa Hudgens, who played Gabriella Montez in the series, being pictured with a baby alongside husband Cole Tucker back in July.
