Hilarious Gravity spoof solves story in 71 seconds

A brilliant spoof viral video claiming to be an “exclusive alternate scene” from the multi award-winning ‘Gravity’, helps to wrap up the film’s story in just 71 seconds, with help from an unlikely hero.

The mash-up video, created by Indian film-maker Krishna Shenoi, takes the iconic opening scene which sees Sandra Bullock’s Ryan Stone careening off into open space, and adds another 'super' Warner Bros. character to hilarious effect.

The video has been watched nearly half a millions times so far, and that number is ever creeping upwards.

‘Gravity’ won its director Alfonso Cuaron the Best Director Academy Award earlier this year, and a Best British Film BAFTA thanks to the outstanding work from UK VFX house Framestore.

The special effects firm has given the viral video the seal of approval by posting it on their Twitter feed earlier today with the caption "It was sad seeing this end up on the cutting room floor”.
