Yahoo Movies Hollyoaks showdown for Silas and Mercedes after Bobby is kidnapped

Mercedes McQueen will finally come face-to-face with her tormentor Silas Blissett in Hollyoaks.
The serial killer has been tormenting the McQueens for months with blackmail threats, aided by his grandson Seth (Miles Higson) manipulating his girlfriend Theresa (Jorgie Porter) to turn against the family.
The endgame is for Silas (Jeff Rawle) to get his other grandson, Bobby, away from the McQueens once and for all – and he'll move one step closer to enacting his scheme in scenes airing early next year.
Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) will inadvertently fall right into Silas's trap when she arranges for Bobby to come home, but soon is worried when she receives a deranged New Year gift.
This latest taunt convinces Mercedes that not only is Silas behind the blackmail, but he must also be getting help from someone within the family. To figure out the mystery, Mercy installs hidden cameras.
Sylver (David Tag) is concerned that his wife is getting carried away with her suspicions, especially when she devises an even more surprising plan to figure out the mole.
When Theresa reveals some sensitive information from Mercedes to Seth, she's unaware that she's done exactly what Mercy suspected. It remains to be seen whether Mercedes will finally discover the mole.
Silas has a trick of his own left, as Sylver comes back from the airport without Bobby! Mercedes places a panicked call to Bobby's phone, but a chill runs up her spine when Silas answers.
The killer invites her to a face-to-face meeting at The Folly. The two long-time enemies finally face off, with Silas giving one of two options – and putting Mercedes's life in serious danger.
These scenes will air on Monday, January 4 on Channel 4 and E4.
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4. Classic episodes, titled Hollyoaks Favourites, air on Fridays at 7pm on E4.
