Stephanie's character is currently struggling with her mental health, with recent scenes seeing her hospitalised after suffering hallucinations of her late fiancé, Luke Morgan.

Cindy, along with Zara Morgan and Grace Black, had attempted to pull off a bank heist in order to save the Grande Bazaar but the plan went wrong, landing Grace in jail.

Grace's prison scenes earlier this week were the last for actress Tamara Wall who has left the soap after nearly 10 years.

Speaking to OK! Magazine before her final scenes aired, Tamara confirmed it wasn't her decision to leave the soap and she found the news, "absolutely devastating".

"When I got told, I bawled my eyes out for three days, I was so upset – it's been the best time of my life," she said.

"It wasn't my decision, but I understand. It's the name of the game, and Grace was going to get her comeuppance at some point. In the end, she probably deserved it. But I'm sure she'll find her way out eventually. She'll be back."

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
