Hollywood reacts to Donald Trump presidency
Hollywood has reacted mostly with revulsion at the news that Donald Trump has clinched the highest office on the planet.
The world of movies and celebrity spoke out against the Republican candidate in the months leading to last night’s election in near unanimity, and many have now let loose.
Dad needs a hug too. Hate is winning. The bullies are winning. I have no words. World, this does not represent all of us. We are horrified. https://t.co/vcitJQ2WCb

Welp! I'm going home early cause I don't know wtf is happening! I want to be near my weapons cause it's gonna be crazy if he wins! Lol

I truly cannot visualize the rambling, incoherent creature I saw at the debates now addressing the nation from the Oval Office.

This is an embarrassing night for America. We've let a hatemonger lead our great nation. We've let a bully set our course. I'm devastated.

However this ends, that's where we begin.

Congrats @amazon: This is the night THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE becomes a sitcom. #ElectionNight

After the wonderful Obamas it is going to be horrifying to see that awful family in the White House. It's like a John Waters movie. https://t.co/9sUjQcw8jV

Aptly, Beau Willimon, writer of political drama ‘House of Cards’, said:
She has conceded the race. That is not the same as conceding our future. He won. But now we become a vocal, active, united opposition.

Many stars said they’d leave the US if a Trump presidency happened. In October, Bryan Cranston said: “I would definitely move. It’s not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won’t.”
“My act will change because I will need to learn to speak Spanish,” Amy Schumer said during an appearance on ‘Newsnight’ in September.
“Because I will move to Spain or somewhere. It’s beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It’s just too crazy.”
Samuel L. Jackson was among the most explicit.
“If that motherf*cker becomes president, I’m moving my black ass to South Africa,” he said.
But at least Kirstie Alley was happy:
CONGRATULATIONS PRESIDENT TRUMP! @realDonaldTrump against all odds ..against the establishment and even against most from the GOP..U did it!
