Home Alone Star ‘Reunited’ With HUGE Spider In Hilarious Video

‘Home Alone’ star Daniel Stern received a visit from an “old friend” over the weekend when he was filmed capturing a ginormous spider in his garage.

The actor who played Marv the hapless Wet Bandit in the classic 1990 film posted a video of himself trapping the HUGE arachnid on YouTube, where he recreated the iconic moment his character is attacked by the tarantula let loose by Kevin McAllister.

Stern is seen capturing the massive eight-legged creepy crawly using a bucket and a sheet of paper before showing it the the camera and dutifully recreating the blood-curdling scream first seen in ‘Home Alone’.

To be fair, the spider is absolutely terrifying, so fair play to him for having the guts to make this “reunion” happen on camera. We’d have probably just run a mile and cried rather than taking on this spider ourselves.

In a recent Facebook post about the famous scene Stern said: “People who meet me are always curious if the tarantula was real, if my scream was real, and if I was scared, crazy or both. The answer to all three of those questions is ‘Yes.’”

He says the scream itself was a tribute to the famous shower scene in ‘Psycho’ adding that it was his co-star Joe Pesci who posed a bigger threat to him on set than the poisonous spider.

“I then had to beat Joe Pesci with a crowbar. And we all know that even though it was pretend and funny and a fake crowbar, it’s a thousand times more dangerous p***ing off Joe Pesci than p***ing of a venomous spider that’s crawling on your face.”
